Chi Gamma Kappa Knighthood has many benefits of being a brother, its a bond that transcends beyond the frat. By giving our members a true sense of family whenever you're around those with the same letters as you. We also share common interests and goals that reflect a need of being a part of something greater than oneself. When you join our fraternity you form life long bonds with the men you come to know as your brothers. You become a Knight for Life!!
Who Can Join....
Knight Membership is open to any man who resides in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky, Louisiana, Oklahoma, North and South Carolina. They must have earned an associates degree or higher at an accredited college, technical or training institution. We also accept membership from professional men with a professional certification/minimal training in his chosen career field, preferably with a demonstrated record of community or organization service of a minimum of two years. We openly invite all positive and driven men interested in the issues and topics we focus our efforts on to join. Members must be able to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the knighthood. All applicants must be 21 years or older & be registered voters. We do not discriminate because of race, creed or ethnic background. Our members are from all races and ethnicity backgrounds. In order to become a part of the knighthood you must first attend a scheduled informational.
How to Become A Member....
Potential members must go through a standard, mandatory pledging period and at the completion of all K.N.I.G.H.t. trials you will earn the honor of being formally inducted into the brotherhood and earn the title of Chi K.N.I.G.H.T. Each K.N.I.G.H.T. trials carries different expectations, responsibilities & at the completion of each they will show us your strengths and weaknesses. The trials are set up to be a exciting learning experience and motivate you to develop several skills or perfect talents.
Hazing....
Chi Gamma Kappa Social Service Fraternity has a strict, no tolerance, no hazing policy which prohibits any form of hazing during the K.N.I.G.H.T. trials. We do not condone or practice hazing, as it is in direct violation of the constitution and bylaws which governs this organization. Any individual brother or cave charged with hazing will be subject to disciplinary action set forth by Chi Gamma Kappa Social Service Fraternity.
